A straight tape measure is useless the moment a line curves — think fabric hems, pipe runs, wall borders, model builds, or a bike frame. RollRule solves that with a precision measuring wheel and a digital readout: roll it along the surface and it counts the exact distance in metric or imperial, holding the value on the LCD so you don't lose your place. It handles straight edges, sweeping curves, and full circles with equal ease, switches units with a button, and zeroes instantly for the next measurement. It's small enough to live in a drawer, pencil case, or toolbox, and it turns fiddly, error-prone measuring into a single confident pass.

Sewing game changer

Measuring curved hems used to be a nightmare. I roll this along the edge and get an exact number. Wish I'd bought it years ago.

Reply from RollRule:

Curves are exactly what it's for — happy sewing!

Perfect for trim work

Following molding around a room and getting real numbers instead of guessing has saved me so much material. Tiny and lives in my toolbox.

Reply from RollRule:

Less waste, cleaner cuts — thanks Grant!

Handy little tool

Accurate enough for my craft projects and the unit switch is convenient. Roll steadily for the best reading.

Great for model building

Scaling curved parts is finally easy. The display holding the last value is more useful than it sounds.

Got Questions?

Everything you need to know about using and caring for your RollRule.

Q.How accurate is it?

For everyday sewing, DIY, and craft work it's accurate to within a small fraction on typical runs when rolled steadily on a clean surface. It's a practical tool, not a certified metrology instrument.

Q.Can it really measure circles?

Yes. Roll it around the inside or outside of a curve or full circle and it totals the distance — something a straight tape simply can't do.

Q.Metric and imperial?

Both. A single button toggles between centimeters/meters and inches/feet at any time.

Q.Does it need charging?

No — it runs on a replaceable button-cell battery, so there's nothing to recharge. Just swap the cell when the display dims.
